I'm glad you wrote this! I understand that some people like "tats" and that's okay. My son has three of them now, and to his defense, they are so far tastefully placed.
But what offends me about them is what some people consider art. I was at work the other day when this temporary employee comes in with his "portfolio" of art that he's done. Turns out he does tatoos at home.
What is it with these people and their art? I've seen some that I can really understand and appreciate. But for the most part, they seem to get lost in pictures of tortured souls, screaming in demonic anger, twisted and distorted. They have to be on a bad trip when they draw this stuff. I mean, what part of the mind does this stuff come from.
I hate to be judgmental. I like to draw and paint, too. Maybe I need to pay better attention to the skill it takes, the many skills, instead of just the final picture.
As for these two "fails", the first one is kind of funny. The second one...give me a bare chest any day. Why would this woman want to turn one of the most beautiful parts of a woman into a billboard?
