In this article it states that they are trying to pass a bill to legalize medical marijuana. It also talks about how marijuana would help a lot of patients. It helps with cancer, althimers, and pain. It also states that like any other prescription pain medicine there is a possible addiction. This is just the start of the bill. It also states that many people who are supporting the bill and why. Also states some physicians that support the bill and there views on medical marijuana.

I am NOT a person who smokes it or needs it. The reason I support this is because I have seen the positive side and have yet to see the down side of this drug. As in everything I am sure there are down sides to marijuana but, there is a down side to every medicine thats why they give you a sheet full of side effects. Look at a commonly used medicine Tylnol. Over the years it kills the lining of your stomach. If you take too many you can die of an over dose. Ever heard in the news that somebody died from smoking to much marijuana? Look at it if you had cancer. Chemo makes you weak and sick. I know my grandpa died of colon cancer. For a few years as my grandpa died, I help take care of him and seen what chemo did to him. Too bad he didn't smoke pot because he might still be alive today or at the very least he would have atleast been strong enough to walk and live normal till he did die and he wouldn't have been in constant pain! So, think before you type back. Remember that FACTS speak louder than opinions. Also remember that statement opinion are like buttholes everyone has them!
Jessica, I know I was one of the people who commented about you coming down on another student, but I was not coming down on your for supporting the use of the weed for medical reasons. I know that it works for several different conditions.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right, you don't hear about people dying from using too much pot, or killing people, either! We have so many "legal drugs" in this country besides over-the-counter types. (Caffeine is a huge one, along with alcohol.)I just don't see why marijuana is illegal when these others are not. There are legitimate reasons to legalize this all natural, made-by-God plant. I don't smoke it, but I might if it was legal!

You didn't! I appericate the chance for questions. I just posted this to show the facts are out there. You just have to look. I actually like hearing what you have to say. You seem very intelligent and you see the "real world" and are not afraid to speak on topics other run from.
